We are never going to have enough people to carry out this campaign, so we're always looking for more volunteers to stand up to the vicious cuts which are being proposed by this Tory led council.
Bury Action Group (BAG) have already started carrying out a number of initiatives including attendance at the Scrutiny meeting on the 17th February (see report here) leafleting and collecting signatures in Bury, Whitefield, Prestwich and Radcliffe and attending council meetings to make our protests known. BAG also had a presence at the National TUC March for the Alternative on the 26th March and has managed to gain publicity in the press, both nationally and locally.
